annown: Best Coast at The Getty

Last Saturday, I ventured out to L.A. with Gloria and a couple other new friends to see Best Coast perform at The Getty for FREE! Apparently, every summer (since '09) they have a music series called Saturdays Off the 405 in the evenings. I had no idea and I've been going to The Getty since it opened back in the 90s. It's pretty cool. We got to see a couple exhibits before the show and landed an awesome spot to plant our feet during their performance. In the last photo, that's eye level view of them since we stood on top of some ledge in front of one of the small fountains. Their performance was amazing! I've loved them for quite some time now and to have gotten to see them live for free and at my favorite museum was an extraordinary experience. Awesome friends, good music, delicious food after at El Taurino in K- Town, a perfect way to spend a Saturday!
