Last Sunday I went to one of my favorite flea markets, the IVC Flea Market held the first Sunday of every month. Did I also mention it's free to get in?! I don't know how it is in other places, but in Southern California you have to pay to get into most flea markets. Anyway, luck was on my side and I came home with some awesome little treasures. I went with my parents, and let me tell you, I like going with them to flea markets for various reasons. The first of course is that I get to spend time with them and since my dad actually likes going to flea markets we get to bond more. The second is that they get to drive. Having to drive every single day a total of 100 miles it is a relief to not have to drive on weekends. Lastly, every so often they'll offer to buy me something. That is how the 1960s handheld mirror and brush came to my possession. They are in really great condition and now after years of wanting a set I finally have one! The dress above in the first photo is just a sneak peek of what I wore, more on that tomorrow!
