Small and Sweet

The pretty Copenhagen apartment of Dorthe and Will may be tiny — it's just 58 square metres — but for them it's a perfect fit. I love the clean look and inspired use of colour — that turquoise wall in the dining room is especially gorgeous. Read more about how they put it all together here on Skönahem.

Stockholm Attic Studio

Feeling very inspired by the tiny attic studio of Swedish interior designer (and TV home shows celebrity) Jimmy Schonning — it's not only dramatic and stylish, but really clever in its use of space, too. More photos and info here. Via Dwell.

A Loft With a View

What were once attic servant quarters have been transformed into an airy loft apartment, perched amid the rooftops of Paris. The unusual U shaped layout, the result of knocking down walls during the remodeling, allows the maximum amount of natural light inside, while clever hidden storage throughout keeps this family home from getting cluttered. The white walls throughout reflect the light and provide a visual flow in the small apartment. With its infinite views over Paris, it's an exhilarating as well as a comfortable space to live in. More info (in French) here on Marie Claire Maison.

Space Odyssey

An interesting solution to wanting to renovate an entire house but lacking the budget to do so — the owners of this home in the city centre of Ghent created a small (38 square metre) studio inside, designed to look like a space cabin from a vintage James Bond movie. Unconventional — and playful, too. More photos here on the OWI website.
